What is NEDI

The Nigerian Economic Diplomacy Initiative (NEDI) is the business matchmaking platform connecting Business Seekers (Foreign Businesses around the globe) with legitimate Business Providers (Local Businesses in Nigeria).

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI), jointly use their areas of expertise to assist business on the NEDI platform conduct commerce with ease.

Business Provider

Verified Nigerian businesses who have goods and services on offer for international seekers. These business are registered through an affiliated or non-affiliated path. Affiliated providers are members of existing partner organizations with unique identification numbers authenticating their membership while non-affiliated providers have joined the platform independently and have had their business registration information verified by the NEDI platform. Our partner organizations include the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce, Manufactures Association of Nigerian and Mining Cadastral office.

Business Seeker

The seekers are foreign business seeking trade and investment opportunities in Nigeria, the seekers are typically verified by the NEDI desk officers in their home countries who interact with them on accessing providers from NEDI.

Once registered and verified, seekers have full access to the NEDI business directory and NEDI messaging center.
